The APA Commission on Accreditation states that no APA-accredited program currently uses only online methods of instruction. Some accredited programs include distance education components, and APA publishes lists of programs using those methods.
That means “online,” “forensic” and “APA-accredited” should never be inferred from one another. Confirm the exact program in the APA database, then ask how coursework, residency, practicum and internship are delivered.
